A melting pocket watch has been combined with Salvador Dalí's right mustache to produce a new surreal timekeeping device: a SunDalí. The SunDali is here a virtual sundial, which you can view on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

The SunDali inhabits a surreal 3D soundscape of moving natural and man-made sounds, accompanied by a Spanish folk tune. The Free version includes one song, "Jota Segoviana", and the paid version adds four more.

Use it to check the time day or night. At night the mustache casts a glow.

You control the movement of the 3D watch, and control the soundscape. Use headphones for best 3D sound effect.

On devices which have them, it can use the accelerometer and compass to control the orientation of the SunDalí, keeping it vertical and pointing south. It can use the location to indicate the true solar time, as would be shown by a physical sundial at your longitude.

There is a paid version, and a free version. The free version has advertising, and only one song. The paid version is ad-free and has five melodies available.
